What type of questions should I ask in Slack versus booking a call?

Short answer: Use Slack for quick questions and updates, and book a call for deeper discussion, walkthroughs, or anything you want focused time on.

Slack is a great place to get instant answers from Easy Realty’s community of hundreds of agents. If you have a question, a peer will often respond within seconds, sharing real‑world experience and practical insight. For many questions, Slack is the fastest way to get clarity.

When Slack is the right place

Slack is ideal for quick, specific questions and day‑to‑day communication. This includes asking where to find a form, confirming a process step, getting peer insight on a situation, sharing updates, or asking a short compliance or workflow question. Slack works best when the answer can be given quickly and doesn’t require a full walkthrough.

When booking a call is better

An onboarding or support call is best when a topic needs explanation, context, or back‑and‑forth discussion. This includes onboarding questions, transaction workflow reviews, access walkthroughs, compliance discussions, connected questions, or anytime you want focused, one‑on‑one guidance. Calls are especially helpful if something feels unclear or you want reassurance.

There is no wrong choice

Agents are never expected to choose perfectly between Slack and a call. If a question is asked in Slack and would be better handled on a call, you’ll be guided to book one. If a call is booked for something that could have been answered quickly in Slack, that’s completely fine too.

Support is not limited by channel

Slack messages and onboarding calls are both part of Easy Realty’s support system. Agents can use one, the other, or both as often as needed. There is no penalty for asking questions and no expectation that agents should already know the answer.

Booking a call anytime

Agents can book onboarding or support calls at any time and as many times as needed. Calls exist to support clarity, confidence, and comfort, not to evaluate readiness. Onboarding calls can be booked here: https://hub.easy.realty/book-new-agent-onboarding-call

Rule of thumb

If the question is quick, start in Slack. If it needs explanation or discussion, book a call. If you are unsure, either option is correct.
